- Precautions for Thread Lifting Procedure.
- After the procedure, your skin may be irritated, so pay special attention to moisturizing care and apply sunscreen meticulously when going out.
- It is recommended to start washing the treated area or applying makeup 2-3 hours after the procedure.
- If you apply Duoderm to the treated area, it is advisable to maintain it for a week and replace it every two days. If Duoderm swells or oozes, replace it even if it hasn’t been two days yet.
- It is advisable to avoid alcohol and smoking for about a week after the treatment.
- You may experience temporary bumpiness or swelling at the treated area, but this usually subsides within 2-3 hours.
- Due to the precision of thread insertion into the skin, bruising, swelling, and pain may occur, which can last about 3-4 weeks, depending on the individual.
- Avoid massaging or applying strong pressure to the treated area for about 2 weeks after the treatment. This is to prevent the barbs on the threads from detaching or changing position.
- To quickly reduce swelling and bruising, it is recommended to apply a mild cold compress to the treated area for 3 days after the treatment and to sleep in an upright position during this period.
- Bruising, swelling, pain, and foreign body sensation usually subside within 1-2 weeks. However, if symptoms worsen even after taking prescribed medications, or if you notice changes in skin color, itching, or a persistent fever, please contact the clinic and visit.
- To prevent thread movement or breakage, avoid opening your mouth too wide for 4 weeks. For example, avoid yawning or laughing too hard. If you have had a double chin treatment, also avoid sudden head movements.
- There may be instances where the threads come out of the skin at the treated area. If this happens, do not touch it with your hands and visit the clinic for proper treatment. Please also contact the clinic if you experience any other discomfort.
- For 7 days after the treatment, avoid alcohol, saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, and strenuous exercise.
